CHIBA -- A drunk junior high school teacher was arrested for intruding into a man's house, police said.

Tsutomu Sakai, 41, teacher and a judo club advisor at Shirako Junior High School in Chiba Prefecture, said he was drunk and doesn't remember what he did.

"I remember nothing," officers quoted Sakai as saying. Sakai is accused of trespassing after climbing through the window of the home of a 27-year-old man in Mutsuzawa, Chiba Prefecture, at about 11:20 p.m. on Saturday.

He is also suspected of touching the breasts of the man's wife and snatching her stockings.

Officers who rushed to the scene arrested Sakai, from Mobara, at a location about 30 meters from the house.

Sakai was drinking with six colleagues at a pub for some five hours before he allegedly committed the crime. A coworker was shocked to hear of his arrest.

"He is honest and enthusiastic about teaching. I don't know the details, but regret what happened." (Mainichi)
